Your enquiry is covered by advocate professional secrecy from your very first message — before any agreement is signed, and whether or not one is ever signed. The privilege covers not only what you tell us but the very fact that you approached us. The duty has no time limit: it continues after the matter is closed and extends to every member of the firm's staff.
