Latvia Golden Visa & Investment Residence
Latvia grants a five-year temporary residence permit for two kinds of investment: a property of at least EUR 250,000, or EUR 100,000 invested in the share capital of a Latvian company — thresholds current as of 2026. The permit covers your spouse and children under 18, requires one short visit per year rather than relocation, and carries no language requirement.
We are CORVUS, an attorney-at-law office in Riga; taking investor files through the Latvian authorities is a core part of our practice. This section collects everything we've written about the investment route: how each route qualifies, what the programme costs in full, how Latvia compares with what's left of Europe's other golden visas — and the restrictions, including the closed door for Russian and Belarusian citizens.
