Cases From Our Practice
All cases below are published in anonymized form: no names, companies, exact amounts or dates. Citizenship and substance only — as professional rules require.
A family of five from Bangladesh — investment TRP via share capital. Full-cycle engagement: KYC and engagement agreement, invitation prepared and filed through the developer partner's holding structure, collection and apostille certification of Bangladeshi documents (criminal records, marriage and birth certificates, source-of-funds evidence), residence applications for all five family members, decisions received, investment state fee paid, the trip to Latvia for biometrics — with urgent card issuance. Result: a five-year TRP for the entire family, registered annually. What it demonstrates: the share-capital route genuinely works for a non-EU family, and we run every stage — including document certification from outside the EU.
A Turkish citizen — investment TRP, objections overcome. During review, the authority questioned the inviting company's staff numbers and the "true purpose" of the investment, signalling a negative outcome. Within the set deadline we filed a reasoned position: actual headcount data and references to previously approved analogous cases on the same terms. The objections were overcome. What it demonstrates: defending a client against an authority's objections is part of the engagement, not an extra.
Russian and Belarusian citizens — the EU Blue Card route. For clients whose investment route is closed by law, we support the working alternative end to end: employer invitation registration and employment-rights fees, filing through Latvian consulates abroad (including Vitebsk), renewals and responses to authority queries. The card runs two years, covers spouse and minor children, requires no constant presence and permits remote work. What it demonstrates: for qualified RU/BY specialists with an employment offer, the Latvian door is open — and we know its exact geometry.
A won EU Blue Card appeal. A refusal questioned the applicant's qualification and the application's "true purpose". On our challenge the refusal was annulled and the Blue Card granted: the reviewing authority confirmed that five years of professional experience is a full alternative to a three-year degree, and rejected the argument that an employment gap destroys qualification. What it demonstrates: a properly built challenge — position described in detail, employer profile, complete experience evidence — can overturn a formally reasoned refusal.
A Russian citizen — extended review and enhanced checks. The authority extended the review and requested substantial additional information. We prepared the responses in full and on time — including a border-crossing table for absence calculations and a bank income certificate in the required form. Status preserved; support ongoing. What it demonstrates: an extended, security-adjacent review can be passed cleanly when the volume is large and the deadlines are hard.
A Belarusian citizen — long-term status maintenance. Ongoing support of an existing permit: annual card registration, timely renewal with documents prepared in advance, and continuous monitoring of the basis under the special restrictive regime applying to Belarusian citizens. What it demonstrates: the quiet, multi-year discipline of keeping a status alive — registrations on time, continuity preserved.
